Music for reading

Long-form attention, slow pace.

Reading music has to disappear. Anything that demands attention — even good attention — costs you a few words on the page. The albums here are quiet by intention: sparse arrangement, tempo well under 80 BPM, dynamic range compressed enough that nothing surprises you mid-paragraph. Most are ambient, neoclassical, or slow electronic. Bias toward albums marked Read or Relax if you're starting from cold.
